Sanford Guerrero is a pianist and church organist based in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. His playing style is based on the influences from timeless performers like Billy Joel, David Foster, Peter Cetera, Chicago (band), Brian McKnight, Earth Wind & Fire, Jim Brickman, Buddy Rich (Jazz), and The Beatles.
Sanford started playing piano when he was 9. His first public gigs were providing piano accompaniment and singing at middle and high school choirs in Pennsauken, New Jersey. Later, he expanded to playing some comps and licks in high school jazz band. Since then, he went on to perform with countless professional singers and instrumentalists at various special events and church services. Later starting in 2009, he self-taught and started performing some of his repertoire on the church organ.
Since 2017, Sanford and his ensemble musicians have played at countless elegant weddings, cocktail hours, and other entertainment gigs at big event venues throughout the Philadelphia and New Jersey regions. In addition, he is a freelance pianist and organist at various churches within the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.
